The project consists of an office building on rue de l'Abattoir, 4-6, 1000 Brussels and an industrial back building the access to which is at 72a, rue de la Poudrière, 1000 Brussels. The office building, completed in 1953, has a splendid 14 meters wide façade, of modernist style. The main part of the industrial building probably also dates back to the early nineteen fifties. It should be pointed out that, at that time, the house stood in a dead-end street (Impasse de l'Écluse) with small houses. In 1963 this dead-end street and its houses disappeared in favor of an extension of the industrial building. The building consists of four levels (basement+3) and has an all-concrete structure. The office building is put up for sale in its present condition. The building permit N° 5P/04 - 04/AFD/157394, delivered on October 26, 2004 by the College des Bourgemestres et Echevins de l'Administration Communale de la Ville de Bruxelles, aims at the transformation of the industrial building into residential units - namely 8 lofts plus parking.
